First, Thank you for your time. Next, apologies for the lack of information. I am posting on Kilrush Parish because Simmons seems to be a prominent name. I am trying to find information about Margaret Simons/ Simmons/ Simms who married Thomas O'Neil/ O'Neill/ Nihil/ Nihill. The had a child Mary, born about 1834. Mary eventually married Robert Keyes/ Keays of Limerick. They raised a family in Ontario. Canada. Unsure if marriage took place in Ireland or Canada. Sorry that's all the information I have. Thank you.

I have explored the relationships between the Simmons, Parker and McInerney families in Kilrush parish, but have not come across any Margaret Simmons. Simmons as a Church of Ireland surname in county Clare appears to have died out before the 1901 census. The sole surviving Clare-born Simmons family left in Clare in 1901 or 1911, which was Catholic, seems to have spawned a new dynasty, with 29 births from 1909 to 1958 in Irish Civil Registration Indexes.

Hi Jane
Below are my notes on your (Catholic) Simmons family; I cannot link them back to the other (Anglican) Simmons family who appear in earlier records and who have many connections to the Parkers of Kilrush, who in turn may be connected to my own Parker ancestors of Briska, county Limerick.
The only Clare-born Simmons family left in Clare in 1901 or 1911 spawned a new dynasty, with 29 births from 1909 to 1958:

Hi, Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Happy to hear of the Simmons family's revival.
Maybe Margaret Simms/ Simons/ Simmons will show up in another parish. Just one more "loose end" of many.
I appreciate your search.
Thanks again,
Mike

Hi, I'm just seeing this now. (Or I've forgotten that I've seen seen these before and blame it on againg. When the bucket gets filled, something's got to spill.) I'll check out these resources soon. Thank you for your time and consideration.
