I am searching for any birth and marriage info regarding the John and Ettie Creamer family.
John (b1804-1813) met/married Esther unknown (b1811-1818) about 1836.
John died in Adelaide, 16 May 1890, age 86. Ettie died in Adel. 1 Nov 1871, age 60.
John and Ettie had 4 children, Anne Creamer (b1837), Patrick Creamer (b1840), John (jnr) (b 1846), and Thomas Creamer (b1850).
Their daughter, Anne (b1837) married Timothy (John) Connor (b 1837) in Naas in 1854. V8,p375. FHL film 101245. No ages available. Timothy died abt 1856/7 in Ireland.
Anne and Timothy had 2 children, William Samuel Connor (b 1855), and Kate Eliza Connor (b1857). Kate was married as Catherine O'Connor to John Charles Chittenden at Port Wakefield, 24 Jul 1879.
All of the family emigrated in 1858, arriving at Port Adelaide, 10 Oct 1858 on the 'Bee'. John and Ettie's ages recorded on the shipping register do not agree with the dates/ages on death certs. Hence the 2 dates given above.
Anne married Alexander Crawford in Adelaide, 4 Jan 1863, died 1902. Patrick m. Rebecca Nugent in Adelaide, 1962, d. 1895. John jnr m. Mary Ann Simcock, 3 Feb 1877, Nth Adel, died in Nth Adelaide, 23 Aug 1891. Thomas died in South Aust. in 1890.
Any help with the Irish records, espec. Esther's maiden name, will be greatly appreciated.
regards, Kevin
