Looking for info for Michael Delmore - Parish of Naas born around 1821

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find any Michael Delmore (and variants) Roman Catholic baptismal records in Co. Kildare. Also, there were no Delmore baptismal records in Naas RC parish.

So can you verify that Michael Delmore was Roman Catholic,

I assume you do not know his parents names? Do you know the names of any siblings?

This might assist other volunteers. From Ancestry- He was buried in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. His 4 oldest children based on a tree on Ancestry were Emma, Ellen, Patrick Henry, and Peter F. The tree suggests his parents were John Delmore and Anna Murphy??

Mary - This is my ancestor - Thank you and Roger for replying - I have a hand written genealogy researched by one of the Nuns in the family in the '60's that contains Michael's obituary and traces his descendants  in the US if anyone is interested.   I am very interested in finding out more about the Irish family.  I did not have the find a grave link and that is very helpful.  From visiting Naas in the 80's I found that there are variations on spelling - Delmer, Delmar if I remember correctly.  I have a copy of his immigration manifest from the ship he came over on through the port of New Orleans in 1850 and his name was spelled Michael Delmore (My namesake).  I am also interested in finding out more about his Bride, Mary Dailey - I understand he brought her over and they were married in 1853.  I also believe they sent for one or more of Mary's brothers although I don't know the details.  I also believe he was Catholic as several descendants families have Nuns and Priests among their children.

Many emigrants would say there were from the nearest big town rather than the actual townland where they lived. So possibly Michael said he was from Naas but in reality lived 10-15 miles from Naas. His local parish may not have records back to 1822.

I did find a Griffiths Valuation record for a John Delmer who lived in Leixlip civil parish (northeast Kildare). The townland was shown as Leixlip-Dublin Road. The Griffiths' record would have been from around 1850.
