Hi

I'm trying to find any links for Elizabeth O'Hanlon.

Fact: She married Joseph William Dines in June 1920 in Naas.  They had 3 children - Josephine B, Madeliene Cecilia, William Miganault

She is also likely linked to horse breeding.  Joseph became a fairly well known jockey in England and she continued with horse breeding.

  • I have looked on on the Irish census but there is no link to her.
  • The surname might be wrong but I found a photo which my dad says is his great grandfather.  Name under photo was O'Hanlon.

The civil index record for the 1920 marriage showed the surname Hanlon. I looked at the 1911 census for Eliza/Elizabeth Hanlon/O'Hanlon and the only possible record was for a 13 year old Elizabeth who was part of a large family in Tully civil parish about four parishes to the west of Naas. Do you know if your Elizabeth came from a large family?
