Laois County, married Bridget Hickey baptised 28 Jan.1807, Parish of Athy, County, Kildare daughter ofPatrick and Catherine (Ready) Hickey of Shrowling,County Kildare.They ended up in Heckscherville,Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.between 1835 and 1840.Looking for a marriage record for them?
Michael was my 3rd. Great grandfather.
There was a Peter McEvoy who lived near Kilmoroney Cross, Barrrowhouse, Laois County, who was given credit for designing and being the builder of St. Mary's Chapel of Ease in the 1820's. Could this be Michael's father?
Will be visiting the area in June.

You might want to take a look at the parish registers of Athy as if that was where Bridget was born, it was probably where she married. They are available online through the National Library of Ireland. The link is below:
