My mother, Kate Taylor - was born in the General Hospital in Castlecomer, on the 6th January 1927.
Her father was Joseph Taylor & her mother was Kate Brennan.
Her Travel Permit Card said that she lived at 30 Maryville, Castlecomer in 1946.
She came to England, met & married my Father. They had 3 children (I am the youngest) and she passed away on the 8th August 1986. We have never met any of our Irish relatives, so I would be interested to know if there are any of my relatives still in the area?
