Hello,

I am looking for 2 missing children of Kate McGrath and James Dunn of Ballyguiry.

Thomas b. 30 AUG 1858 and William b. 6 NOV 1861, both were baptized at St. Mary's RC Church in Dungarvan, their 4 siblings and parents were also married at St. Mary's.

Kate McGrath may have been from Killongford, daughter of Roger/Ellen Mansfield b.13 MAY 1813 also baptized at St. Mary's. James Dunn I believe was b. 12 FEB 1818 baptized at St. Mary's son of John/Mary Dower.

4 of the 6 children came to the US and settled in Worcester, MA. I have traced all of them including my 2xgreat grandmother Mary Dunn Connors. I have been unable to find anything other than the baptisms of Thomas and William.

Regards,

Helen

  • Thank you Elaine.

I will try the grave site for sure. I have used the services of Waterford Heritage Centre numerous times. Most of my ancestors were from Waterford and Clogheen, Tipp. which is in the Diocese of Lismore. I have been very happy with the fee based services they provide.

I have searched the grave site page before but I have not visited it lately. I'll follow your instructions for searching. Thanks again.

    Best,

    Helen
