  • Hi Mary how are you?

I?m glad to see you have posted your message!

It may be an idea to also include the emigration details of the girls. The more information that you most the more likely it is that someone will make a connection with you! Hopefully someone will have information for you on what became of the girls after  they  emigrated!

    All the best,

    Emma

  • Hi Mary, It would be good to add Patrick Fitzgerald's born (18.3.1834) name to the above list as he was the only brother to the above list of girls that also went to America at that time. It might lead us to a connection with an existing Fitzgerald family.

Also the above Margaret Fitzgerald married a Patrick Walsh and two of her sons went to America a bit later, they were Nicholas and Kate Walsh, and his brother Richard and Bridget Walsh. Their wives were 2 sisters from the village in Glenmore, Co.Kilkenny.

    Regards,

    Ann
