I am looking for more information regarding my great-grandparents, Michael Walsh and Frances Pyne. Frances Elizabeth Pyne was born in Cork on the 18th of May 1880 to Jeremiah Pyne and Mary Shea. She later became a national school teacher and moved to Kilmanagh to take up her placement. She can be seen in the 1911 census at the house of John Fitzpatrick, a national school teacher, in Knockeenbawn, Kilmanagh.
Unfortunately I don't have any information regarding Michael Walsh. All I know is that he married Frances Pyne between July and September 1915, although I am unsure of the exact date. According to the transcritption, the registration district for their marriage was in Callan. They had 3 children together: Catherine, born on the 18th of December 1917, Mary and Patrick. They lived in a thatched cottage which can still be seen in Kilmanagh today. As far as I know, this cottage was used as a shop.
I would greatly appreciate any information regarding my great-grandparents. I would like to know when they died and more about my great-grandfathers side of the family, who his parents were, his siblings etc.

You can write to the GRO www.groireland.ie to get a copy of the marriage record which would shows the fathers names for the bride and groom and where the bride and groom were living when married. Fill out the GRO form, provide the quarter/year of marriage, registration district (Callan) and the volume and page number (4 and 220). Costs around 4 euros. I looked for death index records for Frances and Michael.
It looks like Frances may have died after 1958 which is the last year available. I found a death index record for a Michael Walsh born 1881 and died 1931 and anothe rrecord for a Michael Walsh born 1886 and died 1945. Do you know if Michael was older or younger than Frances when they married? Let me know and I will pass on the particulars.
