Hello from Colorado, USA, and thank you so much in advance.
My name is Jordan Wheeler. I am the great grandson of Nora Lyons who was born March 26 th , 1892, in
Ballyglass, Kilconnell, County Galway and immigrated to New York in 1912. One of Nora’s sons was my
grandfather, Ed Francis Brown. Ed and his brother George visited their first cousin, Bridie Hoban in
1995. I have pictures of the reunion in 1995 which perhaps show the home where the Lyons family
lived. I also have Bridie’s letter to George Brown which mentions her relatives. I am attaching it as she lists many different relatives and cousins of hers. My father and I hope to
find our relatives when we visit this September. We will be in Dublin from September 12 through 15
and drive to Ballyglass on the 16 th . My mother, Janis Brown Wheeler, grand daughter of Nonie Lyons,
died on August 4 th . She had always wanted to find her cousins in Ireland but did not have the
opportunity before she became ill. We hope to do so in her honor. The only contact information we
have is for Bridie, who we assume is no longer alive. But some correspondence says that she had
daughters named Christine and Catherine (born Hoban) who may still be alive. I would love to contact
them to ask about the other relatives of Nora. If you have any information, please text or WhatsApp
me at this number: 970-286-5047.

Bridie survived him. She may still be living.
There is a Bridie Hoban of Galway on Facebook.
I'd like to suggest that you write to the address you have for Bridie.
I hope this helps.
