My great, great grandfather, Michael Downs was born in County Kilkenny, Septemer 20, 1831. He emigrated to America around 1848. I am searching for any Downs family relatives who trace their Downs family connection to this place and time.

Mary Downs from Londonderry who was born in 1782 in Cavan but died in America. I am looking for information of any kind on her or her parents. also if she was married was her husbands last name VanDyke? and is there any marriage record for them?
