My facts on Winifred are few.
Winifred Lannen was married in Sydney NSW Australia on 20th October 1856, she died in Parkes Nsw Aus on 24 October 1916.
Variously known as "Lellan", "Walsh", "Lannan", and with many mis-spellings, her death certificate gives her fathers name as Peter Lannen, he was a butcher., and her mother as Johanna Walsh.
During her life she stated she was born in Kilkenny, Dublin, or just Ireland. Her age also varies considerably on documents, being anywhere between 1836 and 1840.
I do not have any shipping records as yet, but her marriage witness was Johanna Masterton, who arrived in Sydney NSW in 1854 on board "The Patrician". Also on board was Ellen Walsh, from Thomastown Kilkenny, but she has now been discounted as her parents were Patrick & Margaret, and she married a James Markham.
A Peter Lannan of Logan Street Kilkenny was found in Griffiths valuation July 1853,
I have found a Peter B Lannon buried in Thomastown , Donaghmore, on 12 Dec 1913 aged 76 years, , with daughter Julia Anne, d 25 Aug 1917, Son Philip; d 1 Jul 1923, and Mrs Mary Lannon d 10 Oct 1926 aged 73 years. Not known if this family is relevant yet.
