I am attaching a copy of an obituary for a Michael Fox who died in Ireland. I believe the year should be 1908. This obituary was found in an old family scrapbook. Michael Fox was married to Susan Kernan (McKiernan) in Jan. 1875. Based on his marriage record Michael was born about 1846 and his father was James Fox. It mentions a Thomas Fox as a best man. Is he a brother or a cousin? The obituary mention's several other relatives. I would be interested in contacting relatives from any of those familes that were mentioned as cousins. (Fox, Prior, Welch, McGoldrick, Smith ...) I have been in contact with one descendant living in Rhode Island USA. Are there any other living descendents out there?
*** I might have figured out how some of those Prior cousin's were related to Michael Fox. I am hoping to confirm it. I do have a family tree on Ancestry.com set up with possible connections.
Does anyone know what Irish newspaper this obituary came from? I am hoping to locate an obituary for a Patrick Fox who died Dec 22, 1908 in Ireland. I believe that Michael and Patrick were cousins. Can anyone help figure this out?

Possibly the obit is from the Leitrim Observer which dates back to 1889. I would contact the Leitrim library and see if they can help with the other 1908 obit. http://www.leitrimcoco.ie/eng/Community-Culture/Library/
