Hi.  I am researching my ancestors in Inishmagrath Parish in the 1830's and 40's.  They immigrated to New York through Boston in 1860's where my ancestor was a merchant marine.  Looking for information on parents.

Bridget McNiff and Myles McNiff.  Children of Michael McNiff and Mary Beirne.  Have found in Griffith Valuation and Birth record for Myles McNiff.  Married John Roden (various spelling Rodin, Redden, Rodden)  in Brooklyn, New York in 1865 though bishops dispensation.  By this time had 2 chldren, John H Redden and Catherine Redden.  John was the son of Hugh Roden and Mary Kelagher (various spellings- Kellagher,Kellaher).  Looking for birth, marriage and death records on them.  Believe Hugh Roden died in 1878 and Mary possibly died in 1891.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Helen

Unfortunately, there are very few records for Drumkeering RC chruch (Inishmagrath). http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0830

Records are only available for 1834-1839. I would review the years available to see if you can find possible connections.

I looked at the 1857 griffiths for Inishmagrath parish and noticed there were four different Myles McNiff records. Not sure which one is for your ancestor.
