I have a John Gilroy in the 1911 census In Correagh, Sligo visitor at McDaniels along with John Sheers from Scotland (nephew). I have Mary Flaherty, 1836-1916, Cartronhugh, Sligo, who married Gilroy in Scotland. She had previously been married to Bartholomew Furey of Correagh.
I have been unable to connect these Gilroys / Furey with any of the Sligo Gilroys in Griffiths, the 1901 or the 1911 census. Because of the proximity to Leitrim, I am guessing that they came from Leitrim. I found Gilroy in Sriff, near Dromahaire, but no firm connection.
Hoping to connect with any Gilroy researchers, Leitrim or Sligo.

Have you tried to locate the marriage record for Mary Flaherty and Bartholomew Furey, could they have married in Scotland too?
If they married in Sligo you can have a look at www.rootsireland.ie a subscription site, to see if the marriage is recorded there.
