My 3rd great Grandparents William Higgison and Violet Johnston married February 9, 1854 in the Parish Church at Carrick on Shannon. According to the marriage license, his father, William Higgison was a Nailer residing in Cornamoda. Violet's father, John Johnston was a farmer in Drumgeaglem.
The ceremony was performed by Wilward Crooke and witnessed by Joseph Knott and William Dowler.
