Greetings,
My sister & wife & I are visiting the area in the 1st week in September, 2016.
We are particularly interested in knowing of Catholic cemeteries in the area of Mohill, Curraan, Mohill (lesser?) & Drumnid.

The surnames of our ancestors that we might find there (all left the area in 1880's) would be CLYNE, MORAN, BOHAN, FOY & NICHOLS.

I have only been able to isoloate some church & burial places so far - so would be grateful for an assist with this.

Many thanks,
Jock O'Keefe

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

We do not have a parish liaison for Mohill parish.

Can I suggest that you contact St. Patrick's church in Mohill and ask where the cemeteries are located?

I know you mentioned your ancestors left in the 1880s but there were still four Clyne families in Drumnid in the 1901 census.
