Looking for any information for Jno (John )Gallagher from Coolagraffy Rossinver Sligo ,wife's name and children I know he had 2 daughters,Kate (my grandmother) and Bridget aged 27&26 1901 census but would like to find out if there were more children and his wife's name ,I know there were Gallaghers on Coolagraffy or a long time as their on the tithe aplotments but don't know who's who so trying to work my way back but need Johns information to start finding my ancestors

    I looked at the 1901 census for Coolagraffy and saw that Bridget was living with Kate and her husband. There was also a John Gallagher aged 50, a widower, in the townland. Is that your ancestor or another John Gallagher.

  • Could be ,I have seen this but cant find any other relatives of his unless he had all girls and they are the other families on Coolagraffy (married names )will just have to keep looking thanks Roger
