Looking for the family of James S Babington. Married Mary Katherine Murphy in the US in 1884. She came from Abbeyfeale and we believe he did too. He must have emigrated to the US between 1850 and 1884. He had a sister who came to the US in 1892, found out that he had died and then went to Australia.

Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie has an 1845 baptismal record for a James Babington/Babbington father named James in the Abbeyfeale RC records. (Not sure of the religion for your family). Roots is a pay site to view the transcription of the church record.
I also found an 1850 Griffiths Valuation record for a James Babbington on Chap st. (possibly Chapel?) in Abbeyfeale. No other Babington/Babbintons in Limerick.
