My great grandmother, Catherine Bridget Fitzgerald, was born on 16 November 1847 in Shanagolden to James Fiztgerald and Cathrine McMahon. She was baptised on 1 January 1848 and her address registered on her record is Cregard, Shanagolden paish
Catherine lelf Ireland and settled in NZ. With the help of an Ireland Reach out volunteer I have the baptism records for my great grandmother and her siblings as well as the marriage record of her parents.
I am now looking for other records for where else in the district they would have lived, where James and Catherine may be have been buried, if here are any passenger lists for ships leaving Limerick for NZ etc.
Can anyone help?

Hi Maria,
Thank you for your message. I hope that someone with information contacts you and helps you to further your research.
In the meantime, I found a record of James Fitzgerald in Griffith?s Valuation. This is a property valuation survey carried out in Ireland 1848-64, it shows him as living in the townland Ballycormick in the parish of Shanagolden:
Here is Ballycormick on the map:
