I checked the Tithe Applotment records from the 1820s. There were 13 Pierce records and 1 Pierse record but none were in Askeaton or Rathkeale parishes. You don't mention the religious denomination for the family. If they were, RC records for Rathkeale records start in 1811 with a gap with the baptismal records from 1823-1831. Askeaton records start in 1829. registers.nli.ie
