I have a general question about the historic RC parish records for Bruff. My ancestors have the surname Ring. Entries for related individuals come up as Ring/Ryng/Wren/Wrenn/King and Ryan. Does anyone know the reputation for these records? They appear to be particularly inconsistent compared to other parishes I have researched in Ireland and fail to note other parishes where married individuals may have hailed from. In addition, my relatives also appear to have been connected to the Bevan Estate at Camas North. A potential ancestor named Martin Ring is listed in the Griffiths Evaluation as living in the caretakers cottage on the estate at Camas North. Does anyone have information related to the Estate and/or could direct me to where I could find information beyond the usual Valuation records.
Thank you.

Good Morning Angela. I hope you are keeping well. Roger has referred your recent query to me.
There are families of Ring, Wrenn and Ryan still living in the parish of Bruff. Also Bevans in Camass North and otherbareas. I am not clear as to the inconsistency of the Parish records. Maybe you could please clarify further. My email address is maurice.lyons@yahoo.ie. How have you accessed these records? If you have completed a family tree, it would be useful to forward this and perhaps we may be able to put you in touch with the right people.Kind regards,
