Hi,

I would like some help with Marriage and birth certificates for John Savage DOB 1796 / wife Mary or Maria Clifford.

Their children Bridget and Jeremiah Savage birth certificates should be in Howardstown Limerick just like their sisters Maria Savage that I have. I have emailed contacted the Catholic church in Bruree/ but to no avail.

This is really holding me back.

    Welcome back!

    The Bruree RC baptismal records start in 1842 and the marriage records start in 1861 so there would not be a marriage record if the couple were married in that church. Likewise there would not be baptismal records fro children born before 1842.

    Civil registration did not start until 1864.

    Hi Roger,

    Find attached a copy of Maria Savage Baptism Record in 1828 from parish Bruree/Rockhill and you found it for me before.

    Is there any chance I could find out more Roger?

    I checked Roots Ireland again and there were no other baptismal records in Co. Limerick for children of John Savage and Mary Clifford from 1818-1838. I also could not locate a marriage record.
