Seeking ancestors for John Conroy. He was born circa 1840 - 1842, lived and married in California in 1870, and died in San Francisco in 1879. His obituary says that he was from Caherconlish.

The Griffiths Valuation survey was conducted in Co. Limerick in 1850. I checked the head of household listing for Caherconlish civil parish and found only one Conroy record in the town of Caherconlish. Conroy Richard Caherconlish, The Square Caherconlish Limerick

Thank, Roger! I plan to visit Caherconlish this summer. John's eldest son was Frank Richard. I will be in Dublin first and hope to find out more about Richard as well as seek church records. I appreciate your help!!! Jacqui
