My ancestors lived at Copsewood, Pallaskenry (now the Salesian College) and I was wondering if anyone can provide me with details of any Caulfeild burials in the Chapelrussell graveyard.

Dear John
Thank you very much for this. James Caulfield's wife Annie is supposedly buried in Killura cemetery. Is this another cemetery in the area? She died around 1890.

I believe all the Caulfield on this page are related,
I also believe the name, general James
recorded 16 times is the same person.
Jas is an abbreviation of the name James.

My aunt had a lead that our ancestor Patrick D FItzgerald, b. 3/17/1829, may be from Pallaskenry. He may have had a brother Thomas that died at age 27 after emigrating to New Hampshire, US. Patrick emigrated there as well. In addition, there was a Michael Fitzgerald that was born there on 2/27/1813 and also emigrated and lived in Jaffrey, NH. THe three all lived in Jaffrey. Patrick later moved to Sharon, NH. He married a Mary Jane Riordan or Reardon, daughter of James Reardon and Catherine Quinlan. My mother had the idea that the father's name could have been Patrick as well. If there is any lead for us there in the Pallaskenry area, we would be most grateful to hear it. May thanks. Kathy K
