Shaughnessy

I am a descendant of Fedamore, Limerick Shaughnessy's. My great grandfather, Patrick Shaughnessy married Katherine Ryan. The emigrated to the US in 1874 and settled in Warsaw, Wyoming County, New York. They were farmers. I believe Patrick's parents were Edmund Shaughnessy and Bridget Hannon. They had 7/8 children. I know that James also emigrated and had a farm in Warsaw, near his brother's farm. I have a lot of information about the family in the US but not much in Ireland. That is now my quest....to find more information and perhaps some relatives in Ireland descended from Edmund and Bridgett.  Edmund lived in Cloughadoolarty.
