O'Dea & Murphy Families of Dromin Parish

Hello all,

My 2x great-grandfather's name was Michael Patrick O'Dea, he was born in Australia in 1876, although his parents, John O'Dea (1833 - 1894) and Bridget Murphy (1844 - 1922), were originally from the parish of Dromin. John O'Dea's parents were John O'Dea & Mary Lynch, who were buried in the Dromin Graveyard, many of their descendants live in the towns of Bulgaden and Gormanstown today. Bridget Murphy's parents were Timothy Murphy & Johanna O'Dea, they had a 46 acre farm at Ballyania near Sherin's Cross which today is owned by their great-grandson, Michael Murphy. They too were buried at the Dromin Graveyard. I am trying to locate any descendants of either of these families, or anybody that might have information, as I am unable to get in touch with any of my relations in the area.
