Patrick Flanagan ( son of Michael Flanagan and Maria Guiry ) and his wife of two years, Maria (Mary) Ryan left Cloonpasteen/Kilmeedy in 1865 for America. Michael was born in 1788 and died at Cloonpasteen in 1869. I would like to find relatives that still live in the area. Also would like to know who is the father of Michael. Michael had a brother, David. Would like to know more about him and his children

I searchedbirths / baptisms on www.rootsireland.ie for Michael Flalanga born 1788 and got no matches in Limerick but 1 match when all counties were selected.
I tried David 1788 + / - 10 years and got 1 match in all counties.
rootsireland is a pay site so I didn't get the details but you could purchase the Michael record which would give you parents' names. You could then search for David with the same parents in the search.
rootsireland is offering 40% off til 14th July so a record should cost about $3 or $4 I think.
To find Flanagans still in the area google eircom which is the Irish phone book.
Search for Flalnaga and Limerick in RESIDENTIAL not Business and you'll get 16 names including a Des in Kilmeedy.
