Hi,, I'm trying to find out where my great grandparents were buried and where they came from. James Hanrahan 1857-1916, agricultural labourer, worked for Kennedys farm in Moorestown and Mary Lonergan 1858 -30th July 1943 worked as a maid/servant. They were Married: 10-Feb-1877 in Grange, Co. Tipperary. Residence at time of marriage: Ballindoney, Co. Tipperary. They had 12 Children in total, which I have information on. His father was Patrick Hanrahan, I have no other details. Would love your assistance here please as I have come to a dead end on my searches.

Clare:
I looked at two subscription site: Roots Ireland and FindMyPast.ie and the best baptismal record that I can locate for James Hanrahan was January 20 1855 father Patrick Hanrahan and mother Catherine Kelly. The RC parish was Carrick on Suir which is east of Clonmel where James was located when he was married and also from Moorstown. I also saw another record in Carrick on Suir in 1843 which appears to be too early.
I was unable to locate a good lead for a baptismal record for Mary Lonergan with father Cornelius.
Mary was living in Moorstown when she died so possibly the church in Clonmel may have records on where she is buried. Have you checked sites like historicgraves.ie and FindMyGrave?

Hi Roger, thanks for the quick response. I did have a look around both historicgraves.ie and FindMyGrave but didn't have much luck. Hard when you don't have a lot of information to go on to narrow the search. My dad and I spoke with the priest in St Mary's Church in Clonmel, but it didn't result in anything much that we didn't already know.
