Looking for a birth record of our grandfather. James Gerald Graham born Limerick 18th July 1899. Possible he was registered under his mothers name Margaret Corbett. We believe that he may have taken the name James when his mother married James Graham. It's possible he was born under the name of Gerald and his father was a Guerin. Could any one see if they can find anything please. We know the family was in St. John's ave Limerick in 1921. I know the birth is correct as it appears on so many other records. I do have find my past and Ancestry, but nothing showing.

www.irishgenealogy.ie is a free site which has birth record images from 1864-1915. I did a number of searches in 1899 under Corbett, Guerin and Graham in the Limerick registration district and did not find a likely record.
I would suggest that you use the site and maybe you will have better success. Possibly he was born outside of the Limerick registration district. Use the Civil Records TAB.
