Clounloughna the same as Clounloughney/Clounloghny/Clonloghna?

I will contact one of our parish liaisons in Co. Clare who might be able to assist. I don't think Clonloghan is correct because it is in the Ennis barony and the Anglim records were in Tulla barony. possibly it was a place name that did not become an official townland.

Many thanks for your query to Ireland Reaching Out. 

Clonloughney is an old name for an area in Feakle that was owned by Francis Gore at one time.  Here is the info through the Clare Library website under the Tithe Applotment Books by Parish (Feakle).

Anglim     Ja's           Anna     Feakle     Clonloghan; Pat'k Minogue, Mich'l Minogue, Ja's Anglim & Jno Anglim
Anglim     Jno           Anna     Feakle     Clonloghan; Pat'k Minogue, Mich'l Minogue, Ja's Anglim & Jno Anglim

Unfortunately, many of these old field names died out when Griffith's Valuation was taken and they are no longer in use.  Thanks for bringing this to our attention locally, as it is something that we now know about.
