Wife's grandfather Bernard McMahon (b. 1883, d. 1960) emigrated to US 1907. Early records show his residence Lismakeery, Limerick (Creeves East), his father James McMahon and wife Ellen White. The McMahon farm remained well into the 1990's. We met a John McMahon and wife Breda briefly in the 90's and have since lost touch. As we recall there was a small McMahon graveyard in the corner of one of the pastures. Would like to know the disposition of the McMahons and this farm. Any information would be helpful.
Thank you!

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I was able to locate the civil birth record for Bernard and he was born on March 5 1882. You will need to sign-in and his record is the last one on the page.

I looked at the online phone book at did not see any McMahon listings in Creeves. You may want to try the library branch in Askeaton. https://www.limerick.ie/living/localinformation/libraries Another link is the RC church

Thanks Roger. I've emailed Askeaton parish. There's also a property for sale that looks closely like the McMahon's. The realtor indicated he would inquire in the area as to McMahons and whereabouts.

We were told at the time there is a family graveyard on the property. If you look closely, just beyond the fence in this picture, you'll see what appear to be grave markers.
