Hello,

I am trying to find information on Edward O'Keefe born about 1775 married Catherine Doyle born about the same time in County Limerick. I believe I know of two children Ellen O'Keefe born about 1800 who married John Murphy these would be my 3x Great Grandparents I know they lived in Abbeyfeale. I believe based on other trees that Edward and Catherine had a son Dennis born about 1800 or so could have been before or after Ellen. I do have DNA matches on Ancestry to descendants of Dennis O'Keefe. Dennis had a daughter named Catherine born about 1842. 

I am looking for other children of Edward and Catherine O'Keefe. I know the last names of O'Keefe, Doyle, Murphy are not very common in Ireland (That's a Joke). If anyone has any thoughts I would love to chase them down.

    Attached are two items.  First are the dates that records are available for Abbeyfeale, Limerick.  As you can see, baptisms are only available from 1829 and marriages from 1825.  I have found two documents:

    1.  Marriage record of Denis Keeffe and Helen O'Donnell on 1 Mar 1829 in Abbeyfeale.  This is the only marriage record of a Denis Keeffe between 1820-1840 in Abbeyfeale. (attached)

    2.  Birth record of Catherine Keeffe - parents Denis Keefe and CATHERINE O'DONNELL  -- in Abbeyfeale -- 18 May 1838 (attached)

    3.  Listing of births between Denis Keefe and Helen O'Donnell as the mother are:  Helen b. 4 March 1840; Elizabeth, b. 13 Dec 1841; 

    4.  Others are:  James Keeffe, b. 20 Mar 1837, mother is Mary O'Donnell; and John b. 7 May 1844, mother is Ellen O'Donnell (could be Helen)  

    5.  I've also attached the list of all children born to Denis O'Keeffe (Keeffe) between 1825 and 1845 in County Limerick.  This list includes all the children above and all were born in Abbeyfeale.

    I give you the exact dates of birth as they might assist you in finding them in the NLI original records.
