  • Hi there

Im working with the Ballyhoura area on the Ireland Reaching Out project..  A lot of graveyards in the area have been recorded on http://www.historicgraves.ie which may be of use to you in tracing  your ancestors.    You haven't mentioned what parish you are looking for,  but hopefully the information may be of some benefit.

    Regards Doreen.

  • Hi Doreen,

Ive just seen your message, a year later after you posted it!! I have a string of Royses in my tree with similar names

    Thomas Henry Foorde Royse 1793-1853

Rev Thomas Henry Foorde Buckworth Royse 1881-1957

    Rev Thomas Henry Royse 1822-1896

    Thomas Henry Russell Royse 1730-1799

This family of Royses would have been more around the Co Limerick area of Nantenan and would have been members of the Church of Ireland .  They also spelt Royse with an 'S' and not a 'C'

    regards Alistair
