  • Hi Sandra- Don't know if there is a connection here or not-

Maurice Guinan, (Guinane, Goonan ?)  Limerick, married a Margaret Crowly. They has a son Patrick b 1772 Limerick. His son James b 1795-1880 Roscrea, Tipperary. His son John b 1822 Roscrea, d 1894 Ontario Canada. Married a Catherine Smith in Toronto. They had a son James b 1856 in Quebec province, d 1910 Toronto. His daughter Birdie May Guinane Savage, b 1885- 1966, Toronto, was my maternal grand mother.

This last name has so many spelling variations and having the Limerick connection I thought I'd give it a shot- Any connections ?  dedieincaz@gmail.com

    Thanks- Deirdre Wiliams
