James Bourke born 1813

Hello David, I have been asked to look at unanswered queries finding James Bourke baptism is neigh impossible as not all churchs had records back in 1813, Abington as a parish straddles Limerick and Tipperary, there are 9 baptisms for a James Bourke in Limerick and Tipperary in 1813, 6 in Limerick, searching the two baptisms you gave I find only one reocrd of each even though common enough names, both baptisms in the parish of Upperchurch in Tipperary and mother is Mary Minihan (not a common name) Catherine was baptised on the 9th August and the witnesses were Thomas & Anne Cahill.

The marriage took place in 1838 in Munroe and Boher, Limerick, think this is Abington and would be her parish and live in his, her name is Minihane here, withesses are Michael Bateman and Mary Frail. There appear to be four other children with two Johns, earlier one most likely died. Bridget 1848; Mary 1850; John (Thurles parish) 1845 and John 1852 in Upperchurch again. One of Bridgets sponsors is Mary Franklin assume previous Mary Frail.
