Hi All,
I am looking for any Kelly-Young family records. I have had no luck on the web-site I have searched - Ancestry.com / Find My Past/ and Roots Ireland.
My great grandfather was Patrick Kelly, his father was James Kelly and mother was Anne Young.
Patrick kelly was born about 1849 in Co. Limerick. he had 2 brothers and 2 sister's... names unknown.
He emmigrated to New Zealand 1867 then to Australia about 1875.
Any records from Ireland sources showing a Kelly-Young connection in Limerick would be appreciated or directions to a source to locate information.

Like you, I was unable to find any baptismal records for children of James Kelly and Anne Young on Roots Ireland. There are about eight RC parishes in Co. Limerick which do not have records back to 1849 so possibly he was baptized in one of those parishes. No marriage record found either. Civil registration did not begin until 1864.
You may want to consider autosomal DNA testing.
