I'm looking for John Guerin, born November 16, 1808. His tombstone says in Limerick City, Ireland.  His wife Mary Burke (This might be his second wife as one son's (Daniel) death cert says his mother was Mary White?) was born April 28,1812 in Mountshannon, Limerick, Ireland (per tombstone).  They both died and are buried in East Orange, Essex County, New Jersey, USA.

Their children:

Ellen born 3 Aug 1837

Maria born abt. 1843

Daniel born abt. 1849

Thomas born abt 1850

Also these children born US, though might have been Ireland

Margaret born abt 1853

John born March 1, 1854

Looking for help identifying Parish for this family.  Thanks

There are two Mountshannon townlands in Co. Limerick. One is in Stradbally civil parish and the other in Killeenagarriff civil parish. Both parishes are just to the east of Limerick city. The related RC parish is Castleconnell. However, records for that parish do not begin until 1850. I was unable to find any baptismal records on Roots Ireland.

I checked the 1850 Griffiths Valuation for both parishes (see below). There were Guerin entries in Stradbally but no John. There was a John Gueran entry in Kileenagarriff.
