I just recently received my DNA testing back from Ancestry and showed some different genetic communities.  I thought I might post something about my family search. The other areas within the percentage of my Irish commnities were:

Cork

Waterford

Belfast

Galway

Dublin

Newrey

Derry

My great great grandfather was Henry Devlin who was born in Ireland in 1836 and migrated to the US where he was in business as a harness maker. (Iowa).  He married a Bridget Malone and they had 3 daughters.  One of which was my mother's grandmother.  I have not been able to gain a lot of information, but have discovered he is tied into the family by the name of McClernon.  This information I obtianed from a last will and testement and guardian papers.  Hugh McClernon was a nephew to Henry's sister Sarah. She married a McClernon in Ireland, but came to the united states after her brother Henry's death to care for his remaining two children.  His wife Bridget and youngest daughter died; I am presuming due to child birth complications.  I have obit which states Sarah came from around the Belfast area and Henry had at least 2 brothers Arthur and Peter.  According the obits I have seen, all three brothers died within a short period of time of each other.  I have seen a few records as Sarah Devlin being Hugh McClernon's mother, but nothing of Sarah's married to Henry or Hugh McClernon except in a marriage notation of Hugh's married to the family of Matthew Rodney.  I cannot find any information on Henery's family in Ireland and if they stayed in Ireland or migrated elsewhere.  I write this with the hope I can find some kind of information or a lead to discover this part of my family.  Thank you so much for reading.  Have a great day
