Hello-
This is my first post and I don't know where exactly Robert Caldwell came from. He was born in Ireland 14 May 1775 and married in Pennsylvania in about 1799. l have looked at ship manifests prior to 1799 and have been nearly overwhelmed by the number of Robert Caldwells coming to the US. A starting point which would be helpful to me would be an idea of where the Caldwells came from in Ireland.
A second name of interest to me is James DeVaney born in Limerick in about 1817. His parents might be Thomas DeVaney and Mary Costello. Mary was born in about 1800. I have no marriage informatiion about them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
