I found James Coleman's baptismal record 14 MAR 1852 with his parents - John Coleman b1825 Eliza Ryan
I'm searching for more. Ideally a family home.
Pointers absolutely welcome.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I will alert our parish liaison for that area of northeast Limerick that you have posted a message. Let me know if you have not heard back in a week or so. Thanks!

Liam, Roger,
That's fantastic. Thank you. Liam - can you point me to the website you're referencing?
I may also have found a property owned by John Coleman in Griffith's Valuation: http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/
Coleman is a pretty common name, but it's in likely town - Abington and living in a house on the same parcel is Ellen Ryan. John married an Eliza Ryan.
I'm still working on understanding the map to find the right parcel of land, but I think it's in modern day Maddaboy.

Liam,
I see now that Genealogy.ie IS a website (I didn't recognize it as a URL), but it looks a professional services site (are you part of that organization?) Do you know of publically available sites that I can do that Irish research on?
thanks,
Rob

I have also found a John Coleman entry in Griffith's Valuation

Interestingly (for me), on the same property renting from John Coleman is Ellen Ryan. John marries Eliza Ryan at some point. Possibly a connection
I'm working on reading the map and pinpointing the location. Tips welcome.
My larger family (parents, adult kids and near adult kids) - 20 of us are visiting Ireland (rented a place in Cork on the ocean) next summer. A trip to Limerick certainly seems likely.
