Roots Ireland has the 1839 baptismal record for Michael Moore in the Murroe Boher RC church recordss. I checked and there were no other Moore baptisms in that church for parents James and Mary and in fact no others for those parents in all of Co. Limerick between 1834-1844.

Later this summer the national Library of Ireland plans tp place the RC parish registers online for free searching. I would look at the Murroe Boher records at that time to see if you can find any Moore baptismal records.

Many thanks for your reply Roger i made a plea for help in 2012 and a lady called aine gave me the same infomation about michael. but i will look up the national library later this year i just thought i would try again as i cannot find any siblings once again many thanks

I have had a look in the local parish records, there is no record of any other siblings of Michael Moore.

That is not to say that he did not have any , they may be recorded in a nearby parish , depending on where they were living at the time . They may also have moved

Many thanks for your interest I do not know a lot about Michael other than his birth and parents.But I do know he joined the 10th brigade of foot 2nd batt in 1858. He transferred from the volenteer unit that he joined in 1855 don't know if this helps once again many thanks for your input
