Have you tried looking the family up in the Tithe Applotment Books? This is a set of landrecords dating from 1823-1838. YOu can find them at the following link:

Also do you know much about their emmigration, such as the port that they arrived in? Generally more information was given at the port of arrival rather than departure. If you knew which port they arrived in you might be able to get more information that could be of help.
