Searching for anyone from Fivemiletown. Joseph Adams was a shoemaker, he married Catherine Kelly. She was a servant at a place called "Lungs". They had four children in Ireland and them came to the United States. Rhode Island was their place of choice. One of their daughters "Jane" married Charles Conley. If you need more detail such as dates, I would be happy to supply them. Catherine Kelly's father's name was Thomas Kelly, his wife Catherine McCormack. Joseph's father's name was John Adams.
Thank you.

Sunny,
Quite a few people from the parish of Clogher, County Tyrone, settled on Federal Hlll in Providence. There was also a community of Tyrone folk living in North Providence. My family came from Errigal Truagh, Monaghan (you can practically hit it with a stone from Clogher. They joined many Clogher folk on Federal Hill).
My blog is attached. On the second page is an article about Federal Hill. You also may want to read Altered States: The Tyrone Migration to Providence..., by Edward T. McCarron. It can be found in the Clogher Record.
Best of luck!

Dear Ray, thanks so much for your posting. I use Ancestry and the Family Search facilities and have come up with a ton of information and some blank walls. If anyone is searching Peter A. Cruise, I would like to connect with them also. I am working on: Adams, Conley, Blake, McCormack, Cruise, Noreau, Rabidou on the Adams and Conley folk. Again, thanks for connecting, much appreciated.

Sunny,
Do you know where and when they were in RI? I'm trying to build a history of Federal Hill as an Irish community. If they were there I might be able to weave them into an essay.
Thank you.
