I am trying to find parents etc of George L.S.Wray who married Mary Ann McDowell, daughter of Late Dr McDowell of Clogher, at his house "White Cottage" Waterside on or around 13/2/1836. From County of Tyrone website. An announcement was in the Sydney Morning Herald 23/11/1866 "Wray-Breathour, George Albert, son of the late George L.S.Wray, formerly US Navy and more recently Londonderry, Ireland. to Anna Maria, daughter of James Breathour, Parramatta". So George L.S.Wray died before 1866 in Londonderry? I have had no luck with Ulster because of no records. George L.S.Wray is my Great Great Grandfather. Thank you for any help.

The National Archives of Ireland http://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy1/genealogy-records/introduction/

Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you. Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.
Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.
Kind regards,
