G'day...I was wondering if anyone has info regarding MARTIN KILBANE AND HIS WIFE CATHERINE (KITTY ) COONEY....they are my 2x great grand parents. I do not have a marriage or a birth date for them but I do have their children.....Mary born 21 May 1879 married JOHN (SEAN ) CORRIGAN....this is where I stem from..JOHN(SEAN) IS MY FATHER'S GRAND FATHER..
Mary Kilbane and John Corrigan were married at KILDOWNET CHURCH on 16 Jan 1903.
The other children of CATHERINE ( KITTY ) COONEY & MARTIN KILBANE are
BRIDGET born 18 Jan 1881
CATHERINE born 18 Feb 1882
MARGARET born 18 April 1883
MICHAEL born 16 Aug 1884
PADDY( PATRTICK) born 1 Sept 1887
MARTIN born 1 Sept 1889
Any info at all that may help me take my research further I would be very grateful.

There is a record of the marriage of Martin Kilbane to ------ Cooney in 1874 Mayo on www.rootsireland.ie/; parish is Achill R C
(When I searched with Catherine as her irst name there were no matches)
You have to purchase credit to view the full record but it SHOULD give you the parents' names though some don't
I'm not sure if it will have their ages on it but if it does you can then search roots (shouldn't say that to Aussies) for the birth records

Hello! On my family tree I have: Martin Kilbane Born 1850, Achill Island Marriage: Jan.19, 1878, Achill, Mayo Mary, first child was born May 21, 1879 in Shraheens, Achill Catherine Cooney Kilbane. (998F-HNL)
