Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I assume you don't have the parents names for Mary?
I did some searching and found a baptisma and civil record for a Mary Ginty/Geenty in Kilnagross townland in Kiltoghert civil parish not far from Mohill. You will note that she was baptized in December 1882 but the civil registration was not until March 1883. Parents had 30 days to register a birth and if they were delayed beyond the 30 days, they frequently adjusted the date of birth to be within 30 days when they registered. I was feeling good about this record until I looked for the family in the 1901 census and guess what Mary/Maria was still in Ireland. So either I have the wrong Mary or she left in 1901. Be interested in your thoughts.

I believe, based on Ancesry.com searches, is my paternal grandmother's father was, Michael McGinty, born abt 1836, in Corraun Achill, Mayo, Ireland (estimated based on Nat Archives of Ireland - 1901 Census record) and her mother was Margaret Gallagher, born abt 1846, also in Corraun Achill, Mayo, Ireland per the same record. That is as far back as I've been able to trace my Irish heritage.
It apperas that they perhaps had a total of nine children from 1877 thru 1889 with my grandmother being the second youngest. Margaret and Patrick (twins- 1877), Anna, Martin, Anthony, Nora, Rose, and another Margaret. One of the Margarets may have actually been Margurite. But then the Margaret I have born in 1877 may be wrong. I've no details for her.
Patrick McGinty, (1877-1928) b-Dec20, Corraun Achill, Mayo, Ireland, d-8 Oct 1928, Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, USA.
Anna, b-25 Nov 1879, Currane, Mayo, Ireland, d-24 May 1947, Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio, USA
Margaret, b-1889, Corraun Achill, Mayo, Ireland, d- 10 Mar 1917, Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, USA.
No info on the other siblings.

Dennis:
The Mary McGinty record you provided in your initial message showed Mohill as her last residence. Mohill is a village and civil parish in Co. Leitrim which is where I was searching. So this record is unrelated to your Mary.
Based on your last message, your McGintys are from Achill Island. McGinty is a very common surname in Achill. There were 34 McGinty families in the 1901 census.
This looks like your family in the 1901 census in Bunanioo townland. (Corraun is the DED). I don't see them in 1911.
