She emigrated from Queenstown 28 Sept 1898 on the SS Majestic to NY and then traveled to San Francisco, CA where her oldest brother John had emigrated. She was later followed by one of her sisters and one of her brothers- Nora and James. All 4 were in San Francisco.  I have found 12 children including Katherine born to her parents Patrick Gillespie 1841-1918 and Kathryn Coyne 1840-1911. ( married in the Roman Catholic Church of Knockmore 19 April 1864)  The others were in birth order: Mary, John J, Ellen, Patrick, Kate, Michael, Thomas, Katherine, James, Honora (Nora), Anthony, Edward. Mary, Ellen and the first Kate definitely died early.

    Hello again!

Not sure what information you are looking for besides any family connections. The RC records for the parish start in 1848 so baptismal records for Patrick and Kathryn would not be available. http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0738

One other point. Brackwanshagh is actually in Kilbelfad civil parish which is just to the west of Ballynahaglish parish.

You can view the civil death records for Kathryn and Patrick at this link
