Looking for ancestors of relatives found in the 1901 Irish Census:
1. John Gaughan and Ann Timlin Gaughan, both born around 1841. They had children named Mary (b. 1885), Patrick (b. 1886), Ann (b. 1887), Anthony (b. 1888), Kate (b. 1889), and John (b. 1890).
2. William Holmes (b. 1853) and Bridget McGloin Holmes (b. 1865). They had children named Owen (b. 1886), Bridget (b. 1890), Mary (b. 1896), Thomas (b. 1899), and Anne (b. ?).
3. John Donnellan (b. 1 Dec 1845) and Honor Kelly Donnellan (b. between 1856 and 1866). They had children named John (b. 11 Jan 1880), Michael (b. 26 Sep 1884), James (b. 29 Jun 1891), and Mary Ellen (b. 12 Mar 1899)

I looked for the civil marriage index records in Co. Mayo and only located the marriage record for the first couple. A transcription of the record is below. The fathers of John and Anne were Patrick and Anthony.
