My Great Grandmother was Anne O Malley born Dec 15th 1850 to Catherine Walsh and Charles O Malley. Islandeady. Anne was listed as illegitimate in Islandeady baptismal records. Anne emigrated to Philadelphia but returned and married my Grandfather Michael Ryder from Castlebar in 1878. I do not know if Catherine Walsh emigrated to U S A or if she ever married Charles O Malley. I would be greatful if someone could give me some information about the Walshes or O Malleys, or if there are any descendants of these families. I think that Catherine had a sister called Bridget O Malley as I found a photo sent by Bridget to her sister Catherine.
